My practice is centred on Somatic Psychotherapy, using my foundation in Counselling to facilitate deep, embodied, and sustained change over time.
I work with adults who are committed to a process of sustained and embodied change and want to achieve greater resilience and agency in their lives.
I take a collaborative, body-based approach that integrates evidenced-based talk therapies like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Therapy with Somatic awareness, helping you build emotional resilience, self-understanding, and a deeper connection to yourself.
In Somatic psychotherapy we work with the crucial two-way communication between the brain and body. When this connection is shaped by past experience or habitual responses, it can, over time, create automatic ways of thinking and behaving that may no longer serve us. Restoring this connection helps the nervous system return to balance and supports lasting change.
My commitment to high clinical standards is maintained through regular individual and group supervision. As a member of the ACA (Australian Counselling Association), the International Institute of Core Energetics, and the International Institute of Complimentary Therapies, I am professionally obligated to adhere to ethical guidelines and ongoing continuing education.
